Manufacturing locations

Hanover and Lebanon, NH are home to our corporate headquarters and several manufacturing facilities. These facilities are the center of our industry-leading plasma manufacturing operations, including the assembly of power supplies and torches, as well as machining of consumables. Production roles here include Assemblers, Machine Operators, and Warehouse positions, with teams working across three shifts each week.
Our New Brighton, MN operations focus on the production of advanced waterjet cutting products and consumables. Production roles here include Assemblers and Warehouse positions, with teams working first shift.
Our Kent, WA facility is the headquarters for our industry‑leading advanced waterjet cutting products. Production roles here include building waterjet tables and harnesses, electro‑mechanical assemblies, machining, and product warehouse logistics, with teams working across two shifts each week.
Our hiring process for Production roles

For new Machine Operators who will participate in our Machine Operator Training Program, the interview process includes an online assessment and a short math exam to help ensure success in the classroom portion of the training program.

We are always looking to hire experienced Machine Operators across all shifts. Candidates must have more than three years of machining experience and be able to pass our experienced Machine Operator assessment to ensure successful integration with our manufacturing operations.

For new Machine Operators in New Hampshire, learning includes technical instruction through the Hypertherm Technical Training Institute. We hire new Machine Operators for second and third shift schedules and conduct training on first shift.
Class Schedule:

Four‑week class held on first shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Additional on‑the‑floor training may occur on first shift prior to the class, depending on business needs

Applicable shift differential is paid during first shift training time
Our Machine Operator training includes:

Classroom learning combined with hands‑on practice to support safe, high‑quality work and long‑term skill development

Participation in a U.S. Department of Labor certified apprenticeship program
-
The opportunity to complete an associate’s degree through the University of Phoenix while remaining employed with us (six additional classes upon completion of the apprenticeship)
These programs are designed to support skills development over time and to help Associates build confidence, capability, and long‑term career options in manufacturing.
Manufacturing Process Engineering (MPE) Rotational Program
Following college graduation, we offer a Manufacturing Process Engineering (MPE) rotational program designed to provide broader exposure across teams and areas of the business over time, without needing to select a specialization upon hire.
Participants in the rotational program may have the opportunity to:

Work with different teams across engineering, manufacturing, and operations

Gain hands-on experience in a variety of focus areas

Build a strong foundation while exploring where their skills and interests fit best
Depending on business needs, some roles may include the opportunity to rotate across two to four teams in six-month assignments. These experiences are designed to help you build a broader understanding of how our work fits together, gain an enterprise-level perspective on our processes, and collaborate with Associates across the company.
