Our interviews are designed to create meaningful conversations. We’re most interested in how you approach your work, solve problems, and learn, not in rehearsed or ‘perfect’ answers.

Our conversations focus on two areas:

  • How your approach to work aligns with our culture and Core Values
  • Whether your knowledge, abilities, and skills align with the role’s responsibilities

Interview style

We use structured, competency‑based interviews to support fairness and consistency, while still allowing for open, human dialogue.

To help structure these conversations, we often look for responses that include the following elements:

  • Situation: What was happening?
  • Task: What was your responsibility?
  • Action: What actions did you take?
  • Result: What was the outcome, and what did you learn?

Prepare to demonstrate how you work, not just what you have accomplished:

  • Be ready to discuss times you improved a process, learned a new skill, or solved a problem creatively.
  • Share examples of listening to needs, adapting your approach, or delivering meaningful value.
  • Prepare examples where you acted ethically, addressed a difficult situation, or owned a mistake.
  • Talk about collaboration, inclusion, conflict resolution, or supporting teammates.
  • Share how you’ve contributed to your team, workplace culture, or broader community.
  • Discuss experiences where you reduced waste, improved efficiency, or considered long‑term impact.
  • Describe times you took accountability beyond your role or worked toward shared goals.
  • Prepare examples of learning from feedback, driving change, or improving how work gets done.
  • Share how you’ve developed skills, acted on feedback, and continued learning.

Attire

Our everyday environment is business casual. For interviews, please dress professionally. If you’re unsure what’s appropriate, your Recruiter will be happy to advise.

Final tips

Helpful reminders as you prepare:

  • Be yourself and share real, specific examples.

  • Focus on what you did and what you learned.

  • Think about how your individual work could benefit the organization as a whole.

  • Your Recruiter can help with questions about format, logistics, support, or accommodation needs prior to interviews.
