Accounting / Finance

It’s all about the data

Our finance Associates help keep our business on track and compliant around the world, and with an analytical mindset and a love for data you will have an exciting career in one of our accounting/finance disciplines. Within our finance organization, you might look to manage our balance sheets, analyze global economic conditions to create financial planning models, or assist the flow of revenue.

Corporate Improvement

Change agents

Our Corporate Improvement team members are responsible for leading, coaching and implementing process improvement projects across Hypertherm Associates – increasing our customer satisfaction, improving product quality, reducing costs, enhancing associate safety and growing our bottom line. Comprised mainly of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, they lead Hypertherm’s core value of “continuous improvement and business excellence” by helping to facilitate discussions and bring out the best of associate ideas.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Corporate Social Responsibility team strives to make Hypertherm Associates a global leader in philanthropy and sustainability. As a member of this team, you will focus on educating Associates on the benefits of being positive community leaders and helping to incorporate sustainable practices into our operations and products.

Facilities / Administration

Ensuring our work is safe and supported

As a member of the Facilities/Administration team, you will play a role in supporting the daily operational needs of our facilities. For example, you might be a project manager on an upcoming building modification or construction project. You might provide maintenance support to keep Associates safe. You might greet guests, or provide administrative assistance to teams across the organization in support of strategic and operational objectives.

Human Resources team members look to support our global industry-leading business by attracting future Associates and delivering programs to help them thrive. Recruiting the next plasma engineer, helping to developing internal talent, making sure our compensation/benefit programs are competitive, or creating fun programs to keep us healthy – a career in human resources is all about people.

Information Technology

Innovative and exciting, keeping us ahead of the curve

Within Information Technology, we have teams to keep our information secure, integrate our business systems, administer our databases, and keep our Associates connected. We count on our IT teams to make information accessible and keep our information flowing around the world. Many of our jobs are two-tiered (developer to senior developer), but career development within IT could be from help desk technician or business liaison to a project manager or team leader.

Logistics / Supply Chain

A career in logistics/supply chain can take you virtually around the world during the course of a workday, whether you’re procuring materials in a category manager position, analyzing our freight costs to see if ocean is better than air, or helping ensure a customer’s order is arriving on time.

Marketing / Corporate Brand Management

There are many paths you might follow in our marketing organization, depending on your specialty. You may be on a product team driving a go-to-market strategy, managing the introduction of a new product, performing market analysis on the ROI of a particular promotion or gaining stronger insight of a particular region through customer surveys. For the creative marketers – maybe it is developing new content for our website, a creative brochure to build our brand or making sure our Associates are kept up to date with the latest news and information.
